Karma is Real

I photographed and composed this collage using images captured during a night at Yu Garden in Shanghai. The work explores the quiet tension in contemporary Chinese spirituality, where everyday life coexists with subtle beliefs in divine intervention and karmic consequence. Through layered imagery, the piece blends documentation and visual storytelling to evoke both serenity and unease.
